Express Shipping: 1-2 Business Days from Dispatch
Express orders are delivered directly to the address provided at checkout — please ensure someone is available to receive the parcel. Orders placed before the daily cut-off time indicated on our website are dispatched the same business day.

Order Processing
Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). Once your order has left our warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your DHL tracking number.
Returns
We design for delight - but we understand that sometimes a piece may not be quite right. Whatever the reason, we have made the return process as graceful as the shopping experience itself.
Right of Withdrawal
As required by the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (Lag om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler, SFS 2005:59) and the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, customers in Sweden and the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal.
To exercise it, send us an unequivocal statement of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving your order — by email to hello@maisonleopolda.com or via our returns portal. Once you have notified us, the item must be shipped back within a further 14 days. The shipping deadline is met if the item is dispatched before that 14-day period expires.
Maison Leopolda may withhold any refund until we have either received the item back or you have provided proof of shipping from a recognised carrier (such as a DHL drop-off receipt), whichever is the earlier.
Condition of Returned Items
For a full refund, items must reach us unworn, unwashed and with all original tags attached, in their original packaging, in a condition that allows resale as new. Maison Leopolda inspects and photographs every return on arrival.
Where a returned item does not meet this standard, the refund will be reduced under Article 14(2) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive to reflect the diminished value of the goods. The reduction may equal the full item price where the item is no longer sellable as new, including our objectively justified loss of income from disposing of the item as second-hand. In such cases the refund may be declined in full.
Where a returned item does not qualify for a full refund, Maison Leopolda will notify the customer by email within 14 days of receipt, with photographs and a brief explanation of the reduction. The customer may then choose to (a) accept the reduced refund and authorise Maison Leopolda to dispose of the item at no further cost, or (b) request that the item be returned to them at their expense within a further 14 days. If no instruction is received within 30 days of our notice, the item will be retained or disposed of by Maison Leopolda.

How to Return an Item
Returning a Maison Leopolda order is simple. Our customer service team will guide you through the process from start to finish.
Step 1 - Visit our returns page and complete the short form with your name, order number, email and the items you wish to return.
Step 2 - Within 24 hours of submitting your request, you will receive a confirmation email with your prepaid DHL return label. The label is provided as a QR code you can scan at any DHL ServicePoint (no printing required) and as a PDF you can print and attach to the parcel. Use whichever is more convenient.
Step 3 - Pack the item(s) securely in their original packaging, attach the return label and drop off the parcel at any DHL ServicePoint.
Once your return is received at our warehouse, we will inspect the item(s) and process your refund within 14 days. You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been issued, or - where applicable - a notification explaining any reduction in refund and a photograph of the returned item.
RETURNS ARE FREE
Maison Leopolda provides a prepaid DHL return label at no cost to the customer. No handling fee is deducted from the refund.
Refunds
Once we have received and inspected your return, your refund — less any diminished-value deduction — will be credited to the original payment method within 14 days. Please allow an additional 5–10 business days for the funds to clear, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Where the customer exercises the statutory right of withdrawal, Maison Leopolda will refund the item price together with the standard outbound delivery cost. Supplementary costs paid for an upgraded delivery option (for example express delivery) are not refundable.
Exchanges
We do not currently offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different size, colour or style, we recommend returning the original item through our standard return process and placing a new order. This is the fastest way to secure the piece you want, as stock is often limited.
Defective or Incorrect Items
Every garment is inspected before it leaves our warehouse. If your item arrives defective, damaged in transit or different from what you ordered, please contact hello@maisonleopolda.com with your order number and a photograph of the issue. We ask that you do so within 7 days where the issue concerns transit damage, so we can investigate it with DHL while their carrier-claim window is open. Your wider statutory rights under Konsumentköplagen are not affected by this request.
Once notified, and once we have inspected the returned item and confirmed the defect, Maison Leopolda will offer either a replacement (subject to availability) or, where replacement is not possible or appropriate, a refund of the item price together with the standard outbound delivery cost. Return shipping in these cases is at our cost.
Under Swedish consumer law (Konsumentköplagen), you have the right to claim for defective goods for up to three years from the date of delivery, and complaints made within two months of you discovering the defect are always considered timely.
A Note on Packaging
We take as much care in how we wrap your order as we do in designing the clothes inside. Our packaging is part of the Maison Leopolda experience - and we ask that you return items in the same packaging, or in equally protective materials, to ensure they arrive back to us in perfect condition.
