ORDERING
How do I place an order?
Simply browse our collections, select your desired pieces and sizes, and add them to your bag. When you are ready, proceed to checkout, enter your delivery details, and complete your payment. You will receive an order confirmation by email within moments.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro and UnionPay), as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna and Bancontact. Additional local payment methods may be available through Shopify Payments at checkout depending on your location. All transactions are processed through a secure, encrypted connection.
Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?
We understand that plans change. If you need to modify or cancel your order, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible at hello@maisonleopolda.com. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be modified. In that case, you may return the item(s) in accordance with our return policy.
I received an order confirmation but no shipping update - what should I do?
Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1 to 2 business days. If you have not received a shipping confirmation within 2 business days of placing your order, please reach out to us and we will look into it promptly.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Where do you ship?
We ship to Sweden, Denmark, Norway, the United Kingdom, the United States, and across the European Union. All orders are dispatched via DHL.
How much does shipping cost?
Sweden: standard delivery complimentary; express SEK 200. Denmark: standard DKK 70; express DKK 150. European Union: standard €10; express €20. United Kingdom: standard £10; express £20. How long will my order take to arrive?
Standard delivery via DHL ServicePoint takes 2-3 business days from the date of dispatch. Express delivery via DHL takes 1-2 business days from dispatch for orders placed before the daily cut-off time indicated on our website. Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1-2 business days. Please note that these are estimated delivery times and may vary due to carrier schedules or circumstances beyond our control.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a DHL tracking number. You can use this number to follow your parcel's journey directly through the DHL website or app.
What happens if my parcel is lost or damaged during delivery?
While we take every precaution to ensure your order arrives safely, should your parcel be lost or arrive damaged, please contact us immediately at hello@maisonleopolda.com. We will work with our carrier to resolve the issue and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or full refund.
Do I need to pay customs or import duties?
Orders within the European Union: no customs or import duties apply. Norway orders: shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid); Norwegian customers may be charged VAT and a handling fee on delivery. United Kingdom orders: shipped DDU; UK customers may be charged VAT and a courier handling fee on delivery. United States orders: shipped DDU; US customers are responsible for any applicable duties, taxes, or customs fees on items above the de minimis threshold. We recommend reviewing your country's import rules before ordering.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
What is your return policy?
You have 14 days from the date of delivery to return any item, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive and Swedish distance selling legislation. Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with all tags attached.
How do I start a return?
To start a return, visit our returns page and complete the short form with your name, order number, email, and the items you wish to return. Within 24 hours of submitting your request, we will email you a prepaid DHL return label and full instructions.
Is there a return fee?
No. Returns are free. We provide a prepaid DHL return label and no handling fee is deducted from your refund.
When will I receive my refund?
Once we have received and inspected your return, your refund will be processed within 14 days. The amount will be credited to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5 to 10 business days to appear in your account.
Can I exchange an item?
At this time, we do not offer direct exchanges. To obtain a different size or style, we recommend returning the original item and placing a new order. This ensures the quickest turnaround and guarantees availability.
Can I return sale items?
Yes. The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive applies to sale items on the same terms as full-price items. The condition and packaging requirements set out in our Returns policy apply equally.
PRODUCT & SIZING
How do I find the right size for my child?
Each product page includes a detailed size guide with measurements to help you select the perfect fit. If you are between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up - children grow so beautifully fast. Should you need personalised guidance, our customer service team is happy to assist.
Do your colours match the photos on the website?
We strive to represent our pieces as faithfully as possible. However, slight variations in colour may occur due to differences in screen settings and lighting conditions. The nature of premium fabrics may also result in subtle tonal differences between batches, which we consider part of their unique character.
How should I care for my Maison Leopolda garments?
Care instructions are included on each product's label and listed on the product page. As a general rule, we recommend washing at a low temperature, using gentle detergents, and avoiding tumble drying to preserve the softness, shape, and colour of each piece. We also recommend turning all garments inside out before every wash - this protects the outer surface, embroidery, and buttons from friction against the drum. Do I need an account to place an order?
Not at all. You may check out as a guest. However, creating an account allows you to track orders more easily, save your favourites, and enjoy a more personalised shopping experience.
How do you protect my personal data?
Your privacy is paramount. We collect only the data necessary to fulfil your order and enhance your experience. All information is processed in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and our comprehensive Privacy Policy, which you can find on our website.
Can I unsubscribe from marketing emails?
Of course. Every marketing communication includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. You may also manage your preferences through your account settings, or simply write to us and we will take care of it.
